Summary: This violin has a warm and rich low end, with well balanced mid and high ranges that make playing sweet and singing passages a joy. It projects effortlessly and feels quite comfortable to handle.

It has a beautiful one-piece maple back with crisp diagonal flaming. The top is made of straight, tightly grained spruce and the fittings are made of ebony.

After graduating from the North Bennet Street School and before joining the Robertson and Sons team, Evan Lowenstein-Davenport made this violin during a time of solo work.
